"When Lance decided to make an "S" style he figured it would be best to start at the beginning; 1954. He was lucky enough to get his hands on a real "holy grail" guitar that was loaned to him. It was number 1055 and was and still is a honey of a guitar. He worked hard to get that same, vintage tone and feel with a few improvements along the way. The body shape is slightly different and more comfortable. Smooth, hand-shaped contours make for a smoother, more flowing shape. The Saticoy models have the lower tone knob controlling the tone bridge pickup alone while the middle tone knob controls both the middle and bridge pickups.
